Funeral Service for Alton Elmore “Boodle” Cargill, age 89 years, a resident of Queens Road, Nassau East South, and formally of Calabash Bay, Andros, will be held on Saturday March 9th, 2013, 1:30 p.m. at St. Anselm’s Roman Catholic Church, Bernard Road. Officiating will be Monsignor Preston Moss and Monsignor Alfred Culmer. Interment will be made in the church’s cemetery, Bernard Road.
Alton, (Boodle) is survived by his wife of 66 years, Madge Evelyn, his children and their spouses Sidney (Martha), Vanria (Dwight), Beverly, Godwin (Michelle), Adrian (Brenda), Cloretta (Glenn), Wayde (Deidre), Algernon (Lamar), Dr. Ursula Ph.D., M. Div, Troy (Angelia), Robertha (Byron), and Dr. Rodd. His grandchildren: Donahue (Raquel), Cindy (Randy), Erica (Raymond), Shirls, Michael, Vanricka, Javanthe, U’Shareme (Renold), Jessica (deceased), Carla, Godwin Elliot, Jordanna, Brandi, Lauren, Justin, MiQuisha, Dr. Adrian Jr. (Christie), Ayden, Symonne, Glendia, Wayde Jr, Dr. Algernon, Aldyn, Alvan, Alaina, Troy Jr. (Chach), Trovayne, T’Angelo, Byron Jr., Travvis, Rodd Jr., Shakara (Mauricio), and Imani. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Cedar Crest Funeral Home, Robinson Road and First Street on Friday from 12:00 noon to 6:00p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 12:30p.m. until service time.
