Dr. Ros Themistocleous

Dr. Ros Themistocleous passed away, after a 17 year fight against cancer, on Friday 3rd May, in Nicosia Cyprus, age 59. She lived in Nassau, with her husband Themis, between 1985 and 1999 and she was a lecturer at the College of the Bahamas. She researched and wrote her thesis on Bahamian history, while there.
Prior to that Dr. Themistocleous taught at Lyford Cay School while her husband Themis headed up the liquidations department at Coopers & Lybrand in Nassau. Together they made many close friends in the local community many of whom still remain in Nassau.
A funeral service was held at St Paul’s Anglican Cathedral on May 7th 2013 in Nicosia, Cyprus. Those wishing to offer condolences may contact her husband Themis at tthemis@spidernet.com.cy
