Funeral service for Petago Hewitt "Smokey" Newbold, 38 yrs., a resident of Crooked Island Street, will be held at Transfiguration Baptist Church, Market & Vesey Streets, on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Lewis Cash, assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment follows in Southern Cemetery, Cowpen & Spikenard Roads.
