Funeral service for
Stalwart Counsellor Remelda Newman Johnson, 76
a resident of #67 Kennedy Subdivision, will be held at Transfiguration Baptist Church, Market & Vesey Streets, on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Stephen E. Thompson, assisted by Rev. Brazil McDonald, Rev. Basil Johnson, Rev. Sherma Bowe & Deacon Colyn Thompson. Interment follows in Western Cemetery, Nassau Street.
