Funeral Service for Missionary Lenor “Sis Lenny” Evans, age 81 years, a resident of Lowe Sound, Andros, will be held on Saturday October 5th, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at The New Mt Freedom Baptist Church, Lowe Sound, Andros. Officiating will be Rev Dr E. John Newton assisted by other Ministers. Interment will be made in Lowe Sound Public Cemetery, Lowe Sound, Andros.
Holding on to precious memories and awaiting that glad reunion day are her: Six children: Three Daughters: Dorie Oliver, Ellamae and Dale Evans. Three Sons: Billy Andy and Jackson Evans. Two adopted Sons: Remond and Valdez Evans; Two adopted Daughters: Maxine &Theshebba Evans One Sister: Zelda Campbell. One brother: Standford Johnson., One brother -in -law Linkwood Evans. One Sister-in-law: Deborah Johnson Grand Children : Oria Mackey, Shalese Russell, Daphane Bessie, Shonell and Dorinda, Oscar and Nicholas Oliver, Tammie Taylor, Denise Williams, Sean and Anthon Whylly, Henderson Knowles, Shando Johnson, Lisa, Shenequa, Stacia, Sophia, Natasha, Steven, Donavon, Sharmicka, Vanessa, Demetrius, Shayne, Daria, Alyiah, Brad, Kirk, and Billy Evans Jr. Kendal, Nadia, Bradshaw and Karen Evans, Nyoka Williams, and Val Adderley, : Fifty Five Great Grand Children : Fourteen Great Great Grand Children :Fifteen Nieces including : Patricia and Elrinis Miller , Carolyn Knowles, Marianna, Latoya, Indera, Cindy, Sierra, and Victoria Johnson , Melricka Dean, Diecta Mackey. Fourteen Nephews including: Louvance Seymour, Oneal, Luvans , Hexon, and Nekeya Johnson, Rev. Dereck Campbell, Jerry, Mark, Gerain, Eugene, Marvin Campbell, Loxwell, Alvin & Moses Russell; Two God-Children: Franklyn Russell & Janet Knowles. Friends and Relatives too numerous to mention including :Elizabeth Colebroke, Alva Russell and Family, Edna Melford, Brandina Grant and family, Algerine Russell and family, Lovely Knowles and family, Martha Rolle and Family,.
