Memorial Service for Joseph Herbert Johnson Jr., age 74 years, of No. 34 Union Village, will be held on Friday October 25th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Butlers’ Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Ernest and York Streets. Officiating will be Apostle Rick Dean.
Left to cherish his memories are numerous children including: one daughter: Sheryll Johnson (Coral Springs, Florida); three nieces: Christine and Theresa Hunter and Dr. Yvonne Hunter-Johnson; one nephew-in-law: Sgt. 1846 Freeman Johnson; numerous grandchildren including: Everette Ferguson, Jamel and Janel Henderson; grand nephews: Lathario Robinson and Fidel Campbell; grand nieces: Savannah and Sasha Ingraham and Felicity Johnson; one great-grand: Eva Ferguson; numerous family members including: the descendents of Willard and Arnold Edwards, Rosa Munroe, Maude Thompson, Clara Symonette, Jessie Mingo, Naomi Bowleg and Ruth Edwards; friends: the entire Union Village and Rawson Square communities.
There will be no viewing. Arrangements are being handled by Butlers’ Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Ernest and York Streets.
