Funeral Service for Ella Rebecca “Pud” Major, age 83 years, of Marathon Estates, formerly of Roses, Long Island, will be held on Friday November 1st, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Shirley and Church Streets. Officiating will be Canon Crosley Walkine assisted by Fr. Lynden Douglas. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Solider Road.
Left to cherish her memory are her brother: Lorenzo Major; two sisters-in-law: Connie Major ( New York) and Avis Major.; nieces and nephews: Doris Major McCray, Douglas S. Major, Sandra Major, Paulette and Stephen Humes, Karen and Michael Belfield, Lauren and Rev. Bill Higgs, Horace Major, Yogi Ritchie, Tony Miller, David and Marjorie Major, Reuben Major, Sandra R. Major, Joyce Major Johnson, Sarah and Douglas Ausberry, Jackie and Enrique Sewer, Courtney Major, Cecil and Rosemary Major, Charles and Philip Major, Princess Major, Elizabeth McDonald, Eriamae Saunders, Anna Marie Archer and Ritha Curtis; and numerous cousins and sorrowing friends and many others too numerous to mention.

Friends may pay their last respects at Butlers’ Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Ernest and York Streets on Thursday October 31st, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and at the church on Friday November 1st, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. until service time.
