Funeral Service for Doreen Victoria Burrows, age 71, of Cartwright’s, Long Island will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2014 at 9:00 a.m. at St. John’s Anglican Church, Buckley’s, Long Island. Officiating will be Canon Harry Ward. Interment will follow in the Church’s Cemetery, Buckley’s, Long Island.
She is survived by her Husband: John Emerson Burrows; Sons: Gary, Ron “Ronnie”, Sylvester “Wessie”, Christopher “Kid” and Donovan “Maine” Burrows; Daughters: Karen Patterson, Patsy Cartwright and Charon “Sherry” Knowles; Daughters-in-law: Renee, Rosemary, Spatchas “Lucy” and Melissa Burrows; Grandchildren: Luke, Faith & Mark Burrows, Brandon and Anne Pontius, Ian Pontius, Candace “Mikki” and Patrick “PJ” Minzie, Maegan, Mica-Mia and Mikhail Cartwright, Misti and Anthony Persaud, Ezekiel, Ethan and Abigail Knowles, and Cochise Burrows; Great-grandchildren: Cohen & Delaney Pontius, Malachi Johnson and Patrick “Trey” Minzie III; Brothers: Elton, Cecil & Bradley Knowles; Sisters: Mitzie Cartwright & Ruth Carroll; Numerous nieces , nephews & other relatives including: Richard Patterson, Machon Cartwright and Brian Knowles; Edgar “Timer” Burrows, Frank Cartwright and Patrick Carroll; Alma Knowles, Geneva Cartwright, Thelma “Tallie” and Theresa “Duffy” Burrows, Elizabeth, Laura and Judy Knowles;
Viewing will be at the Church in Buckley’s on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until service time Saturday.
