Full Military Service for Retired Local Police Constable #3067 John Philip Major age 66 Of Mortimer’s, Long Island will be on Saturday August 30th 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Hamilton’s, Long Island. Officiating will be Fr. Simeon Roberts. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Cemetery, Mortimer’s, Long Island.

Viewing will be held at Vaughn O. Jones Memorial Centre, Mt. Royal & Talbot St. on Today (Thursday) from 2:00 pm to 6:00 p.m. On Friday at Holy Name Burial Society in Mortimer’s, Long Island, from 12 noon to 6:00 p.m. and at the Church in Hamilton’s on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
