Funeral Service for Douglas Dwain Higgs age 42 years, a resident of Forbes Street, Nassau Village and formerly of #9 Montrose Lane, South Bahamia , Freeport will be held on Saturday 20th, December, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Columbus Drive. Officiating will Rev. Dr. Keith Russell and interment will follow in the Grand Bahama Memorial Park #1, Frobisher Drive.
Cherish memories are held by his mother: Ann Smith-Higgs; father: Ivan Higgs; children: Deandrea and Douglas Higgs Jr.; brothers: Wellington, Rudolph, Monty and Julian Higgs and Dwight Jolly; two sisters: Elizabeth Green and Ivana Higgs; grandmothers: Patricia Cox and Mae Higgs; aunts: Sybliene Russell, Dorrie Marshall, Sandra Kemp, Netty Riley, Elenor Deal, Donna Higgs and Jennie Gilbert; uncles: Cedric, Sidney, Edward and Keith Higgs, Basil Pratt, Stephen Marshall and Harold Russell; sisters-in-law: Rochelle, Jillian and Kimberly Higgs; nephews: Monte, Rudon, Julian and Elijah Higgs and numerous other nephews, nieces: Rudysha, Rudaria, Nandi, Dajah and Martina Higgs and numerous other nieces, cousins: Antonio Smith, Jason, Jasmine, Jessica, Marshall, Linda Higgs and many others the Mighty Warriors Prayer Band, Global Tech and First Baptist Church Families, Lavanda Cartwright, Keeno Major, Giggy, Ricardo McPhee, Cogan Newbold, Nekia Hendfield, Management and Staff of Cat Cay Yacht Club a and a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Yager Funeral Home & Crematorium, Queens Highway on Friday from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
