Funeral service for
Deacon Maxwell Henry Stubbs, J.P., 89

a resident of  Huyler Street & formerly of Orange Creek, Cat Island, will be held at Transfiguration Baptist Church, Market & Vesey Streets, on Saturday 27th December, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.  Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Stephen E. Thompson, assisted by Rev. Brazil McDond, Rev. Basil Johnson & Rev. Sherma Bowe.  Interment follows in Western Cemetery, Nassau Street.
Lovingly cherishing his memories are a host of relatives and friends including:  two sons: Philip and Neil Stubbs; three daughters: Sharon Rahming, Dainette Cleare and Marsha Thompson; two sons-in-law: Minister Ivan Cleare and Rev. Dr. Wesley Thompson; one daughter-in-law: Sharlamae  Stubbs; 15 grandchildren: Lamon, Lavado and Lakito Stubbs, Lamarr, Darryl and Lanette Rahming, Leonardo, Rico and Ricardo Cleare, Abanique and Matthian Thompson, Neil  and Christian Stubbs, Latoya and Latarrio Stubbs; six great-grand: Deion Subaran, Hailey,  Skylah and Gabriella Cleare, Logan and Kohen Stubbs; one sister-in-law: Ruth Stubbs of Richmond Heights, Florida; two adopted sons: Livingston and Leonard Stuart; five adopted daughters: Renae Sweeting, Rev. Sherma Bowe, Minister Andrea Duvalier, Minister Colleen Boyd and Lorraine Dames.

Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte's Funeral Home, Market Street, from 1-5:00 p.m. on Friday & on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until  service  time.
