Gelena "Dada" Burrows, 92
a resident of Mermaid Blvd. West & formerly of Old Bight, Cat Island, will be held at Zion Yamacraw Baptist Church, Yamacraw Road, on Saturday, 15th February, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Bishop Samuel Burrows. Interment follows in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
Her survivors include; Children: Five sons - Elkanah, Zephaniah, Rev. Archelaus, Reginald and Oswald Burrows; three daughters, Eunice Seymour, Lucetta Miller and Esperlean Rolle; Daughters- in- law: Rubyann, Icelee, Eunice, Idell and Sybil Burrows; Sons- in- law: Richard McPhee and Wellington Rolle; One Sister: Lydia Green of McQueens, Cat Island; Grandchildren include: Elsiemae and Arnette Dawkins; Jason (Lee), Lindy (Bim) & Carmella, Pauline, Roger & Ellerie Seymour; Drs. Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte's Funeral Home, Market Street, from 10-6:00 p.m. on Friday & on Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
