Funeral Service for Ruth McKinney, age 95 of Miami Florida and formerly of Jacksonville, Florida who died in Miami on February 10th 2014 will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Bedes Catholic Church, Sutton Street off Kemp Road. Officiating will be Fr. Jude Muokwe, MSP. Interment will follow in the Church’s Cemetery, Sutton Street.
She is survived by her Daughter: Yvonne Bevans; Grand Children: Andrew McKinney of Atlanta, Georgia; Bernice Ashley, David, Walter & Patrick Kemp, Anastacia Bridewater & James Collie; Son-in-Law: Edward Gardiner; Sister-in-Law: Clair Smith; Sister: Nell Smith; Nieces: Charlene Murphy, Agatha Cooper, Ingrid Forbes, Sophia Oliver, Nadene Moss, Renea Cooper, Ann Higgins, Lona and Vickey; Nephews: Charles, Phil, Paul, John, Jude, Pat, Leroy, Elmor, George Johnson of Miami, Florida; and Richard Clarke of New York; 22 Great Grandchildren, Numerous Great, Great Grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends including: Queen Adderley & Family, Patricia DuPuch & Family, Gertrude Saunders & Family, Debbie Smith & Family, Aizie Oliver & Family, Patricia Glinton & Family, Margaret Moxey & Family, Eleanor, Winifred, Bessie and Pastor Agnes Glinton.
Friends may pay their last respects at East Sunrise Mortuary, Rosetta Street, Palmdale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday and at the Church from 10 a.m. on Friday until service time.
