Cecil A. Rose, Jr., legendary basketball player, died on 27th day of December 2013. Born in the Bahamas, his remarkable athletic talent enabled him to migrate to the United States where he was a standout basketball player at Miami Jackson High School and the University of Houston. He was drafted into the NBA by the New Jersey Nets and played professionally for two years.
Cecil loved the Lord, his family, his friends, his colleagues, his community and his country. He dedicated 30 years to serving his country, promoting the Bahamas as part of the Ministry of Tourism.
Services will be held in The Bahamas on Saturday 11th January 2013.
