Memorial Service & Tribute for Minister Lorna Joy Simmons will be held on Monday, January 27th 2014 at 7 p.m. at the Church of God of Prophecy, East Street, Tabernacle.
Funeral Service for Minister Lorna Joy Simmons, age 52 of High Point Estates and formerly of Birmingham, England who died on January 13th 2014 will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2014 at 11 a.m. at Church of God of Prophecy, East Street, Tabernacle, East Street. Officiating will be Bishop Franklin M. Ferguson assisted by Bishop Dr. Woodley Thompson. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, J. F. K. Drive.
She is survived by Husband: Associate Pastor, Minister Kendal C. Simmons; Son: Kendal Joshua Simmons; Daughter: Kalei J. H. Simmons; Granddaughter: Karei-Jae Z. Friends may pay their last respects at East Sunrise Mortuary, Rosetta Street, Palmdale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday and again on Tuesday at the Church of God of Prophecy, Baillou Hill Road from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and at the East Street, Tabernacle from 9.30 a.m. on Wednesday until service time.
