Funeral service for the late Arthur Stubbs aged 80, affectionately called ‘Salty’, of Guinep Tree Street, Pinewood Garden and formerly of Orange Creek, Cat Island, who died on 2nd July, 2014, will be held on Saturday 12th July, 2014 at 10:00 a.m., at All Saints Anglican Church, All Saints Way, Joan’s Heights, South Beach. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Stephen Davies and Rev. Fr. Berkley J. Smith. Interment follows in Woodlawn Gardens Cemetery, Soldier Road. Left to cherish the happy moments of Arthur’s life are his: Faithful and Beloved Wife: Althea of fifty (50) years; Three Devoted Sons: Wendell, Trevor and Sheldon; Three Daughters-in-law: Collean, Sophie and Stephanie; Six Grandchildren: Anton, Trevon, Ravanne, Wendario, Tiana and Sheldon Jr.; One Brother and Spouse: Revis and Betty Stubbs; One Sister: Yvonne Stubbs; In-Laws: Julia Wilson, Elizabeth McQueen, Miriam and Godfrey Davis, Ellis Stubbs, Shirley, Norma and Vernell Stubbs; Nieces and Nephews: Charles and Rev. Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Newbold Brothers Chapel, Palmetto Avenue & Acklins Street, off Market or East Streets, on Friday from 10:00 a.m., until 5:00 p.m., then, on Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m., until service time.
