A funeral service for the late Shirley Lindsay Roberts, age 79 of Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, The Bahamas, who died at the Princess Margaret Hospital, Shirley Street, Nassau, on Saturday, 12th July, 2014, will be held at Gladtidings Tabernacle, Kemp Road, Nassau, on Wednesday, 23rd July, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
Reverend Irene Russell, will officiate and interment will follow in Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery, East Shirley Street, Nassau.
Mrs. Roberts was predeceased by her parents, Reverend Thomas Paul Roberts and Ruth Naomi Roberts.
She is survived by her sisters, Pauline Albury, Frances Newbold and Yvonne Roberts; nieces, Joanne Kemp and Valerie Hall; nephews, Gregory and Glen Newbold; grandnephews, Loren Kemp, Kyle and Tyler Hall and William Newbold; close cousins, Nadean Albury and husband Winston; godson, Robin and many other relatives and friends.
Instead of flowers the family request that donations be sent to BAARK, P.O. Box SP- 63961, Nassau, in memory of Shirley L. Roberts.
Relatives and friends who wish may pay their respects at Kemp's Funeral Home Limited, 19 Palmdale Avenue, Palmdale, on Tuesday, 22nd July, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
