Funeral Service for the Late Claudette Delores Sands, age 72 years of #13 Castor Street and formerly of South Caicos, Turks & Caicos Island, will be held on Saturday June 14th, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Rhodes Memorial Methodist Church MCCA, Montrose Avenue. Bishop Derek C.O. Brown will officiate. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens & Mausoleums, John F. Kennedy Drive & Gladstone Road.
Left to celebrate her legacy are her two children, Dior Sands and Chenée Daniels; Grandchildren: Ellyssa, Tavin, Ellison and Andrew (step grandson); Sister: Earlee Bowen; Brothers: Predeceased by Bill & Hayden; Brenette, Aliston, Dunwell, Dudley, Gloyd, Lutz, Clifford & Lynden Lewis. Son-in-law: Travis Daniels; Daughter-in-law: Samantha Sands; Sisters-in-law: Anne Bowe (predeceased); Agnes Miller, Judith Turnquest, Mispah, Lillian, Elaine, Yvonne, Saida & Desirée Lewis; Brothers-in-law: Kelvin Bowen (predeceased) and Philip Sands. She is also survived by a numerous amount of cousins, nieces and nephews from the Lewis, Brooks, Hanchell, Powell, Harvey and Sands families; God-children and friends including, Dora Bethell, Ella Thompson, Betty Clarke, Zelia Bethel, Sonia Dillet and Dalcie Pearce; also her Women Alive, Emmaus Community, and Rhodes Memorial Methodist Church families.
Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians, #34 Nassau Street on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
