A funeral service for the late Mr. Sydney Ellsworth Sweeting, age 83, of Sea Breeze Estates, Nassau, The Bahamas, who died at his residence, on Monday, 9th June, 2014, will be held at Ebenezer Methodist Church, East Shirley Street, Nassau, on Saturday, 14th June, 2014 at 4:00 p.m.
Reverend Charles A. Sweeting, Sydney Pinder and Hartis Pinder will officiate and interment will follow in Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery, East Shirley Street, Nassau.
Mr. Sweeting is predeceased by his parents, Allan and Dorothy Sweeting; his brother, Michael Sweeting; his sisters, Beverly Honess and Marie Murray.
He is survived by his son, Dr. R. Geoffrey Sweeting; daughters, Carol Fox and Dr. Martha Sweeting; grandsons, Aaron Fox, Nicholas Sweeting, Christopher Sweeting and Alexander Sweeting; granddaughter, Jessica Fox; brother, Reverend Charles A. Sweeting; son-in-law, Douglas Lake, daughter-in-law, Vicky Sweeting; brothers-in-law, Max and Carolyn Roberts, Benny and Eldwyth Roberts, Rupert "Junior" and Margaret Roberts, Leslie and Virginia Roberts, Dave and Sharon Roberts, Leverne Roberts, Helen Roberts; sisters-in-law, Iris Sawyer, Shirley and Wesley Hunt, Ethel and Marcel Labrosse and Sylvia Roberts; special cousin, Edna Albury and many wonderful nieces and nephews, family and friends.
