A funeral service for the late Mrs. Irene Fondas, age 89 of Cable Beach, Nassau, The Bahamas, who died at Doctors Hospital, Collins Avenue, Nassau, on Monday, 20th October, 2014, will be held at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, West Street, Nassau, on Saturday, 1st November, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.
Father Irenaeus Cox will officiate and interment will follow in Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery, East Shirley Street, Nassau.
Mrs. Fondas was predeceased by her husband, Matthew Fondas and is survived by her sons, Mark, Nicholas and Evangelos Fondas; grandsons, Matthew, John, Evangelos and Matthew Fondas; granddaughters, Gabriella Eike, Marcie Bond and Andrea Reyes; sister, Kalliope Papageorge; daughter-in-law, Rose Fondas; grandsons-in-law, John Eike, John Bond and Guillermo Reyes; sister-in-law, Nula Mangos and many other relatives and friends.
Instead of flowers the family request that donations be sent to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, P.O. Box N. 823, Nassau in memory of Mrs. Irene Fondas.
