Full Military funeral service for Former Deputy Commissioner of Police SIR ALBERT JOEL MILLER, K.C.M.G., L.V.O., M.B.E., Q.P.M., C.P.M., age 89 years a resident of Sea Hawk Cay, Freeport, Grand Bahama will be held on Saturday, August 29th, 2015, 11:00 a.m., The Pro Cathedral of Christ The King, Frobisher Drive and Pioneers Way, Freeport, Grand Bahama. Officiating will be The Right Reverend Laish Z. Boyd Sr., Lord Bishop of the Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos Islands assisted by The Venerable Harry Bain and Reverend Father Alvardo Adderley. Internment will be made in Columbarium and Remembrance Garden at the Pro Cathedral of Christ The King.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 66 ½ years: Annie Laurie Miller nee Gibbs and their children Deborah & Donald Archer, Tony & Kim Miller, Russell & Linda Miller; Grandchildren: d’Von & Davonia Archer, Shona & Chris Baselice, Sean & Albert Miller, Melinda & Andre Tucker, Ashley & Chris Fry; Great-Grandchildren: Kalem, d’Von II & d’Azjah Archer, Savannah Robinson, Elijah & Jacob Baselice, Amari, Marley & Kai Tucker; Siblings: Rev’d. Scofeild & Rosie Miller, Willard & Josey Miller, Leila Fountain, Rosemary Marshall, Paula & Ivan Holder, Noel & Prisca Gibbs, Beverley & Anthony Allen.

The body will lay in state in the foyer of the Gerald Bartlett Police Complex, Mall Drive, Freeport, Grand Bahama, on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
There will be no public viewing on Saturday.
The funeral cortège will commence from the Gerald Bartlett Police Complex on Saturday, August 29th, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. traveling North on Mall Drive to Explorers way, turning South on Mall drive passing the ‘Grand Bahama Port Authority,’ turning East on Pioneers Way to East Atlantic Drive, terminating at the Pro Cathedral of Christ The King.
