Last rites for William ‘Nucky’ Rolle aged 101 of Sunset Park and formerly of Old Bight Cat Island will be held on Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, Theodore Lane off Harold Road. Officiating will be Brother Carl Pinder assisted by Brother Whitfield Smith, Brother Alvin Jack and Brother Zendal Rahming. Interment in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
He is survived by his son: Reuben Rolle; four daughters: Anita Stubbs, Jennemae Knowles, Betsy Mae Rolle and Vernis Forbes; Twelve grand children: Diana Johnson, William Kelcy Armbrister and Clarence Armbrister, Althretta Stubbs of Orlando Fla, Merlene Davis of Orlando Fla., Sharon Stubbs, Ottamae Rolle, Erica Capron, Cannie Rolle, Kristin Rolle, Vanessa Knowles , Kanisha Rolle; Nine great grandchildren: Crystal Armbrister, Clarence Armbrister Jr., Marissa Capron, Averni Lloyd, Mario Capron Jr., Machela Armbrister, Joshell Wemyss, Avernell Lloyd, Devonia Porter, Shakara Thompson. Son in law: Stanley Forbes; Daughter in law: Clara Rolle; Grandson in law: Mario Johnson; granddaughters in law: Joy and Charmaine Armbrister; Nephews: Michael Jr.(Antoinette), George, Kendal, Randy and Clayton Curtis, , Ishmael, Hiram and Learnex Smith, Levi, Claudius and Napoleon Rolle; Nieces: Phyllis Kelly, Floridamae Rolle, Carolyn Thompson, Advelean Smith, Luella Fife, Neverlee, Leonie and Florence Smith, Geneva Gibson; Numerous Grand nieces and Nephews including Denise Clarke, Sgt. The body will repose at Curtis Memorial Mortuary, Robinson Road and Fifth Street on Friday from
11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. and at the church from 1:00 P.M. until service time.
