Funeral Service for Effie Sybil Hanna, age 91 years, of Nurse Naomi Senior Citizen’s Home, formerly of Delectable Bay, Acklins, will be held on Saturday December 19, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., at Faith Temple Ministries International, Prince Charles Drive. Officiating will be Pastor Carlos Thompson. Interment will follow in the Western Cemetery, Nassau Street.
Left to cherish her memories are her two children: Winston Hanna Sr. and Margaret Hanna-Gellineau; five grandchildren: Beverley Hanna-Williams, Petula Hanna- Carter, Michelle Hanna, Winston Hanna Jr. and Eugia Edwards; seven great grandchildren: Michael Carter Jr., Keithra Hanna, Dana Williams, Mikia Carter, Monalisa, Alexandria and Ceara Hanna; two great-great grandchildren: Jasmine and Keyden; three nieces: Gwendolyn Simms, Joan Rolle and Deborah McDonald; seven nephews: Stafford Rolle, Gladwyn Tynes, Anthony Tynes, Ivan McDonald Jr., Marcian, Patrick and Vincent McDonald; numerous grand nieces and nephews including: Steven, Sandy, Cranston Rolle, Vanessa and Vadalia Rolle, David, Anthony, Marco and Marcia Hanna, Rupert and Michael Missick; cousins: Barbara Devoe (Chicago), Wyonna (Ft. Lauderdale), Aldin Hanna (Miami), George Hanna, Estermae Hanna-Culmer, Lorrinda Hanna, Ruth Hanna and family and Hon. Arthur D. Hanna and family; three brothers-in-law: Lanford Hanna and family (Delray Beach), Kermit Hanna and family (Miami) and Ivan McDonald Sr.; other relatives and friends including: Carl and Doris Hanna, Ruby Percentie, Hon. Friends may pay their last respects at Butlers’ Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Ernest and York Streets on Friday December 18, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and at the church on Saturday December 19, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
