A funeral service for the late Mr. Laddie Curtis Gates, age 83 of the Eastern Road, Nassau, The Bahamas, who died on Tuesday, 22nd December, 2015, at his residence, will be held at Ebenezer Methodist Church, East Shirley Street, Nassau, on Saturday, 2nd January, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
Reverend Dr. Godfrey A. Bethell and Mr. Sidney Pinder will officiate and interment will follow in Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery, East Shirley Street, Nassau.
Mr. Gates is survived by his wife, Ivy Gates; son, Gregory Gates; daughters, Amanda Roberts and Carla Gates-Greene; grandson Bruce A. Roberts; granddaughters, Ashleigh and Bianca Roberts; nephews, Ross (Stella) Albury, Richard (Ginny Rose) Albury and Johnny (Barbara) Gates; great nieces, Jennifer Gates and Natasha Curry; great nephews, Carl (Carrie) Albury, Alex, Tyler, Dillon and Chandler Albury, Carl and Gene Curry; son-in-law, Peter Greene; sister-in-law, Rosemarie Saunders and many other relatives and friends, Reverend Terry Cardy, Reverend Dr. Godfrey A.
