Funeral Service for Ronald Rudolph Thompson, age 81 years of Oaksfield, will be held at Salem Union Baptist Church, Taylor Street on Friday July 31, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Heuter Rolle assisted by other ministers. Interment will follow Lakeview Memorial Gardens, John F. Kennedy Drive.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons: Roosevelt, Ricardo, Bradley, Ian, Ronald and Marcus Thompson; daughters: Wendy Hall, Toni, Telsene, Veronica, Phylis, Dellette Thompson, Renee Thomas (Miami, Fl.), Carol Moss and Matice “TC” Rolle; grand-sons: Rev. Fr. Ethan Ferguson, Evan, Roosevelt Jr., Rashadd, Andrew, Kristen, Daniel, Brent, Travis, and Breanell Thompson, Cyrique Saunders and Shehzad Thomas (Miami, Fl.); grand-daughters: Charah Rolle, Shantell Brennen, Lashanna Forbes, Latia Seymour, Shavante Hall, Katrina Johnson-Thompson (Great Britian), Khanica Hall, Zeba Thomas (Miami, Fl.), Latisha, Tavaughnia, Ronnisha, Brittney Thompson, and Rafi Rolle; brother: Leroy N. Thompson; sister-in-law: Shirley E. Thompson; daughter-in-law: Helen Thompson; sons-in-laws: Kirk Hall, and Radley Rolle; great-grand children: Bershanna Gittens, Lekico Bodie, Destiny Forbes, Nashante and Nashon Hall, Demiko Jr. and Denika Rolle, April and Miguel Thompson, Maquel Connolly, Khayvan Deal, Nakia Brennen, Lennique Gittens, Destiny Forbes, and Dorion Brennen; nieces: Leslyn K.E. and Leanarda N. Thompson, Deidre Smith, Gesele Brown and Allison Ferguson; nephews: Byron L.N. Thompson, Renatus L.N. Thompson, Bronsdon L.N. Thompson, Edwin and Kendrick Moss; other relatives and friends including: Rev. Heuter Rolle and Family, Salem Union Baptist Church Family especially the Men’s Choir and Usher Board, Mt. Friends may pay their last respects at Butlers’ Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Ernest and York Streets on Thursday July 30, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
