Funeral service for Mr. Leland Roberts Age 87 of Augusta Street , and formally of Moorse Island ,Abaco will be held on Saturday June 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Greater Bethel Cathedral, Faithway, Baillou Hill Road South. Officiating will be Bishop Christopher Minnis assisted by Elder Londrey Frazier and Other Ministers. Cremation will follow.
Leland is survived by nine nephews: Anthony, Eric, Godfrey, Joseph and Steven Riley, Kenny and Reginald Thompson, Albert and Willie Roberts. Nine (9) nieces: Cynthia Sargeant, Beverly Maycock, Marentta Young, Eva Roberts, Irene Fernander, Carolyn Roberts, Lenora Ferguson, Joan Mott, Shandel Thompson. Several grand and great grand nieces and nephews, god daughter Ernestine, nephew-in-laws Kirkwood Mott, and Humphrey Ferguson, Eugene Young, Wayne Fernanda, other relatives including: Annie Knowles and family, Chris Knowles and family, Charles Knowles and family, Merlene Swain and family, Maudrina Lewis and family, Diana Ward and family, Kenneth Ward and family, and the Roberts Furniture Family.
Viewing will be held in the Legacy Suite of Vaughn O. Jones Memorial Center, Mt. Royal Ave and Talbot Street on Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and at the Church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to service time.
