Funeral Service for Samy Pierre, age 79 of Augusta Street and formerly of Anse-A-Foleur, Haiti who died on Monday, June 8th, 2015 will be on held Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, West Street. Officiating will be Fr. Junior Calixte. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, John F. Kennedy Drive.
He is survived by his: Wife: Marie Elene Jeune; Daughters: Camesuse Lightbourn, Mildred Murphy-O’Brien, Miriam Augustine, Carolyn Pierre; Sons: Joshua Jules, Blanc Pierre and Louis & Israel Augustine; Sons-In-Law: Kendal Lightbourn and Michael Obrien; Grandchildren: Christina Cleare, Kendra & Kendesha Lightbourn, Rolexus Lomorin and Briah & Jonathan O’Brien; Great Grandchildren: Ciara Cleare, Carmello M. Poitier and Jerico Pierre; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Friends may pay their last respects at East Sunrise Mortuary, Rosetta Street, Palmdale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and at the Church from 12:00 p.m. on Saturday until service time.
