Last rites for Dorothy “Mother” Maggie Greene aged 70 of Lil Harbor, Mangrove Cay, Andros will be held on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at Pilgrim Baptist Church, Mangrove Cay, Andros. Officiating will be Pastor Brainard King assisted by Pastor Brain Moxey. Interment in The Public Cemetery, Mangrove Cay, Andros.
She is survived by her nine children: Estella Clarke-Greene, Brendalee Belle, Barbara Saunders, Charlton, Captain Ornald Sr., Anthony Sr., Lynden, Berthrum and Edney Greene Jr. of Mangrove Cay; Three sisters: Virginia Jones, Shirley Clarke, and Anna Clarke-Rolle. Two brothers: William Clarke of New Providence and Pastor George Clarke of Mangrove Cay; Thirty grandchildren: Sharleen Bannister, Cleveland Sr. and Shantell, Omar and Katherina, Alexander, Olivia and Odessa Greene. The body will repose at Curtis Memorial Mortuary, Robinson Road and Fifth Street on Thursday from 12:00 Noon until 6:00 P.M. at the Church in Mangrove Cay on Friday from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Saturday.
