Funeral service for Mr. Austin John Williams, 83 yrs., a resident of Rich Close, Golden Gates & formerly of Stanyard Creek, Andros, will be held at St. Agnes Anglican Church, Baillou Hill Road, on Saturday, 23rd May, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Canon Waren Rolle, assisted by Fr. James Moultrie. Interment follows in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
He will be missed by his wife: Mrs. Carmetta Williams; 4 daughters: Shena Williams, Pandora (Joshua) Lightbourne, Linda Henfield and Stacie (Barrington) Williams; 2 sons: Henry (Jhonel) Williams, Larry (Joey) Williams; 1 sister: Mrs. Veronica Ferguson; 2 brothers: Charles and Alex Thompson; 3 sisters-in-law: Mrs. Victoria Williams, Mrs. Princess McIntosh, Mrs. Lucile Williams; 1 brother-in-law: Mr. Reginald “Junior” McIntosh; Grandchildren: Lynden Hunter, Elcava Scott, Joshnell Lightbourne, Theodore, Chanel, Xanthe and Zharia Williams and Shy Bowe; 4 great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews including: Daphanie and Kaylinda Ferguson, Ellen, Islyn, Denise, Bradley, Theophilus and Bradford Williams, Joan (Audley) Miller, Elizabeth, Wallace, Carlton and Randolph Williams, Jewel McIntosh, Wayne and Dexter Lewis, Vernell Williams, Evang. Crystal (Rev’d. Brent) Ferguson, Charesse (Ruben) Major, Shandles Williams, Archie (Erin) Johnson, Raymond (Linda), Kurt (Sherry), Greg (Paulette), Kevin (Rosalyn) and Brian (Lorain) Williams. Numerous relatives and friends including: The Williams Family of Suffolk Virginia, Earnest Duncombe, Vincent, Lee Edwards, Phylon Dacosta, Mr. & Mrs. Lziriam and the entire staff of Villa Sands Sovci, the officers and members of the Elks Lodge especially Reuben G. Knowles Lodge 1760, the entire staff of Sanpin Motors especially the parts department, Living Waters Kingdom Ministries especially Pastor Generine Williams, the St. Agnes Church family and Demeritte’s Funeral Home.
Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte's Funeral Home, Market Street, from 12-6:00 p.m. on Friday & on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
