Funeral serviced for Viola Farrington-Strachan, 81 yrs., a resident of Price Street, Nassau Village & formerly of Zion Hill, Cat Island, will be held at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Joan's Height West, on Saturday 23rd May, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Stanley G. Ferguson, assisted by Rev.Elmond R. King & other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment follows in Southern Cemetery, Cowpen & Spikenard Roads.
Left to cherish her memories are: Two daughters: Julieth Johnson and Jacqueline Demeritte, two sons: Apostle Rev. Dr. Prince Albert King and Tracey Charles Demeritte; Stepchildren: Ray Strachan and Sivlean Brown; Son-in-law: Howard Keith Johnson; Two daughters-in-law: W.P.C. 1172 Wenderlee King, D.D. and Lathera Demeritte; Three brothers: George Farrington Sr. of Zion Hill Cat Island, Charles Austin Farrington of Freeport, Grand Bahama and Retired Assistant Supt. Of H.M.P. James Farrington. Sister-in-law eleven grandchildren: PC 3304 Zshavargo Mackey and Kendira Joi Charlot, Valentino Ferguson, Lashandria and Lakeisha Johnson, Octavia King and Diargo Stubbs, Zoe, Clarissa and Tracey Charles Demeritte Jr., and Paul Thompson. Great-grandchildren: Taniqua Colebrooke; Tashad Mackey.
