Funeral Service for William Jerome “Jerry” Cartwright age 64 of Wemyss, Long Island who died on April 14, 2016 will be held on Saturday April 23, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady’s of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Hamilton’s, Long Island. Officiating will be Deacon Patrick Darville assisted by Catechist Leonard Cartwright. Interment will follow in St. Pius X Catholic Church Cemetery, The Bight, Long Island.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Eugene & Lucille Cartwright; three sisters: Valaria Auneddu; Theresa Fisher & Catherine Pritchard.
He is survived by his sister: Gloria & her husband, Gregory Culmer; three brothers: Doniva, Anthony & Martin Cartwright; uncles: Thomas Cartwright, Patrick Darville & Dennis Knight; aunts: Effie Cartwright, Gloria Darville & Marina Knight; brother-in-law: Angelo Auneddu; sister-in-law: Marylillian Cartwright; nieces & nephews: Sophia Streater, Rachel Cartwright, Michelle & Mitch Domenech, Melody & Jock Jones, and Monalisa Martinez, nephews: Raffaelle & Billie Auneddu, Michael & Holly Auneddu, Daniel & Renay Fisher, Charlton & Patricia Culmer, and Trevor Cartwright; grand-nieces & nephews: Malik & Gregory Streater, Danny Trujillo, Felicity & Travis Domenech, Kayla & Jacob Culmer, Zahria & John-Xavier Fisher, Emerald, Crystal & Isabella Martinez, Shelia Blanc, Raven & Brea Cartwright; great grand-nieces & nephews: Leo & Elizabeth Auneddu, Aaliyah Domenech, and Bella & Sibola Blanc, and numerous cousins. Viewing will be held at the Church in Hamilton’s, Long Island on Friday from 12:00 noon to service time on Saturday.
