A funeral service for Ivan Richard Borgen of Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England was held on 28th April, 2016 at Harrogate Stonefall Crematorium, Harrogate.
Mr. Borgen died after a short illness in York Hospital, York, Yorkshire.
He was predeceased by his wife, Jane E. Borgen in July, 2015 and is survived by his son, Adam Borgen and his wife Karen; his daughter, Carol Peterson and her husband, Joe; two grandsons, Adam and Richard Peterson and Kate and Lucy Borgen; many friends in the United Kingdom and The Bahamas.
Mr. Borgen will be remembered by his students in Queen’s College as a mathematics and science teacher in the High School and by students of the newly established Queen’s College Hostel for Family Island students, where he and his wife were the resident supervisors.
