Funeral service for Lillian Theresa “Lil” Saunders age 84 of Stapledon Gardens and formerly of Black Point, Andros will be held on Saturday, April 30th 2016 at 10a.m. at Robinson-Morris A.M.E. Church, Ridgeland Park West. Officiating will be Pastor Howard F. Williamson, assisted by Rev. Thelma Williamson. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, John F. Kennedy Drive.
‘Lil’ was pre-deceased by her husband: William Saunders Sr.; Son: Lynwood Duvalier; Sons-in-law: Lorenzo Douglas, Gary Carey, Franklyn Carey and Clifton Cartwright; Siblings: Charles and Richard McPhee and Dorothy Marshall.
Left to cherish her precious memories are her: 4 Sons: Patrick McPhee, Derek Saunders, Chief Inspector William Saunders Jr. and Robert Saunders; 5 Daughters: Grace Douglas, Charlotte Carey, Sarah Sturrup, Vanice Carey and Clarice Cartwright; Son-in-law: Andrew Sturrup; Daughters-in-law: Arnette Saunders, Marion Saunders and Lisa Saunders; Grandchildren: Gizelle (Neil), Lamont, Kevin, Clarice (Ian), Tiffany, Patrick Jr, Demarco, Owen, Christina, Alisa (Warren), Alivia, Aleah, Shanria (Emmanuel), Zhivargo (Nadia), Tamaria (Cory), Tamea, Gianna, Kito (Ramona), Robert Jr (Carlesha), Ravonn, Joshua, Riche, Krystal, Kendra, Khadijah, Candice (Vincent), Tevin (Clarissa) and Jessica; 45 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great-Grandchild; Sisters: Geraldine Ferguson, Muriel Ferguson, and Priscilla Forbes; Brother: Elliston McPhee; Sisters-in-Law: Annie-Pearl McPhee, Julie Hanna, Eloise Albury, Genevive Hanna, Venus Boniby, Evangeline Outten, Shelia Ferguson, Beverly, Shirley and Irene Saunders; Brothers-in-Law: Wilfred Forbes, Emil, George, Burlington, Francis, Weston, Walter and Solomon Saunders and a host of other relatives and friends, nieces and nephews including; Rev. The body will repose in the Blessed Redeemer Chapel at Ferguson’s Funeral Directors, 7th Terrace Collins Avenue, on Friday from 10:00a.m. - 5: 00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 9:00a.m. until service time.
