Funeral service for the late Carl Rollance Carey age 89 years of Wilson Tract, North and formerly of Tarpum, Eleuthera, who died on 19th July, 2016, will be held on Sunday, 21st August, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at Grants Town Seventh Day Adventist Church, Wellington Street. Officiating will be Pastor Peter Joseph, assisted by Elder Michael McCoy. Interment will follow in the Southern Cemetery, Cowpen & Spikenard Roads.
He is survived by his only living Sister: Vera Carey of Tarpum Bay, Eleuthera, whom loved him dearly.
Predeceased by his siblings: Brothers: Timothy Bertram, Kenneth, Theodore and Patrick "Sunny" Carey; Sisters: Mary, Myrtle and Erma; Sons: Andrew and James "Tommy" Carey.
He will forever remain in the hearts of his loving children; Four Sons: Wesley and (Ingrid) Carey, Philip and (Susan) Carey, Sergio Carey, Raymond and (JuJuan) Johnson-Carey; Six Daughters: Olive and (Timothy) St. Fleur, Jacqueline and (Fritz) Estimond, Linda and (Jean) Altino, Delores and (Van) Ferguson, Sylvia Johnson and Sharon Carey (Orlando); Step Children: Lynn, Carol, and Jerome Johnson, Alpheus Barr of Wilson Tract; Grandsons: Edward, Jamal, PC 3618 Philip, Adrian, Andrinique Carey, Vaughn Ferguson, Lawrence, Derrick and Dwayne McPhee Donnathan Collie (Orlando), Vincent Sawyer, Bentley and Fritznel Estimond (Florida); Granddaughters: Phileisa Carey, Anasieya Gaitor, Deandra Roberts (Orlando) Desiree Roberts, Vanessa Sawyer, Latisha and Brittany Ferguson (Ft. Lauderdale), Deja and Deanna Carey, Fritzie and Kelly Estimond, Ghannika Dazilma, Timiyah and Alexa-Simone St. Fleur (Florida), Melissa Meikle (Suffolk, Virginia), Eunice and Junior Jacques (Brooklyn, NY); Great Grandchildren: Hailey, Jermaine, Antonio, Michaela, Madison and Philip Carey III, Reanne Johnson, Tieco, Tyrique and Tyrelle Gaitor, Vyshon Gomez, Peyton Roberts, Toneicia and Antonio Turner Jr., Sa’rae and Kyle Estimond, Sergine Charles and Amare Meikle; Nephews: Timothy Jr., Norman, Dewey Carey, George Sands, Gordon, Morris, Reginald, Roderick, David and Eric Carey; Nieces: Mary Knowles, Faye, Renee and Linda Carey, Yvonne Ingraham and Paulette Rahming, Dorothy Fernie, Karen Bethel, Erma Cartwright, and Carolyn Smith; Other Relatives and a multitude of Friends including: Inez Kelly and Family, Alsadia Hudson and Family, Vanera Kemp and Family, Sharon Sturrup and Family, Albert and Wendy Rolle, Grants Town Seventh Day Adventist Church Family, New Englerston Seventh Day Adventist Church Family, Hillview Seventh Day Adventist Church Family, A & A Comfort Care, Wilson Tract Family and The entire Tarpum Bay Community.
