Funeral service for
Rev. Theodore Norris Major, 80

a resident of Matthew Town, Inagua & formerly of Clarence Town, Long Island, will be held at Greater Bethel Cathedral, Faith Way, Blue Hill Road South, on Saturday 13th February, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.  Officiating will be Suffragant Bishop Christopher Minnis, assisted by Suffragan Bishop Ellis Farrington & Suffragan Bishop Ezekiel Munnings.  Interment follows in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, John F. Kennedy Drive.
 
Left to mourn his passing are his wife Christina, Daughters; Mavis Delancy and Idena Wildgoose, four (4) sons; Lionel, Theodore Jr., Delvin and Jaycoda, two (2) sons-in-law, Felix Delancy and Vincent Wildgoose and three (3) daughters-in-law; Yolanda, Michelle and Judy Major.
 
Also mourning his passing are two (2) brothers, Joshua and John Major, three (3) sisters-in-law, Betty, Gloria and Sabine Major; Eighteen grand children Natalia Rolle, Shonyadfred, Brandon, Eleanor, India, and Lionel Major Jr., Giovanni Delancy and Felix Delancy Jr., Lenardo and Savitri Major, Nioshie, Teronique and Brando Major, Teneshia, Tyreka, Tyrel and Tanika Major, and Paul Wildgoose Jr.; Eleven great-grand children, a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends including, Brother Carl Farquharson, Franklyn Charlton, Thomas Cartwright, Tyrone and Barbara Bain, Michael Harris, Susan Hendfield, Maglyn Forbes, Melanie Rahming, Jackie Major, Brenda Hanna, Merle Mott, Endel Cartwright, Sheddie Cox, Alfreda Allen, Vincent Cartwright, Mable Gardiner, Dorothy Miller, Veronica Ingraham, Iva Nixon, Lucy Hamilton, Audrey Mortimer, Preston, Leo, Alex Jr., Thompson and Reno McIntosh, Sister Arnette Cooper and other members of the clergy and congregation of Greater Bethel Temple Mission Inagua and Nassau Bahamas as well as staff of Morton Salt Company and the Inagua General Store in Inagua, Bahamas.
 
Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte's Funeral Home, Market Street, from 12-6:00 p.m. on Friday & on Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
