Funeral service for Debra Denise Wells-Cartwright, age 56 years, of Gray’s, Long Island, who died at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Sunday January 24, 2016, will be held on Sunday January 31, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Cartwright’s Gospel Chapel, Cartwright’s, Long Island. Officiating will be Elder Doddridge Hunt assisted by Brother Jeff Knowles. Interment will follow in Gray’s Cemetery, Gray’s, Long Island.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband: Locksley Cartwright; daughter: Megan Cartwright-Whyms (Donovan); son: Tyrell Cartwright; parents: Nigel and Catherine Wells; parents-in-law: Delbert Sr. and Emma Cartwright; one sister: Sally Hutcheson (Leonard); two brothers: Jack (Pat) and Keith Wells; two sisters-in-law: Muriel Cartwright (Clinton) and Charlotte (Ormond) Moss; three brothers-in-law: Gary Cartwright, Hon. Lawrence “Larry” Cartwright (Ann) and Delbert Cartwright Jr. (Nora); numerous nieces and nephews including: Nakia, Leonard “Lenny” and Marcus Hutcheson, Keitra, Perseus, Matthew and Mannie Wells, Crystal Love (Duncan), Nakita Fox (Desmond), Cassandra, Oren, Wayne, Brian (Audra), Marvin, Graeme, Delton, Delaneo (Royanne), Portia, Steven, Christopher and Joy Cartwright, Carlton and Sterling Moss; one goddaughter: Tatum Watkins; other relatives and friends including: Her Beloved Former and Current Co-workers of Gray’s, Deadman’s Cay and Mangrove Bush Primary Schools and her pet cat “Trouble.”
Friends may pay their last respects at Butlers’ Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Ernest and York Streets, on Friday January 29, 2016 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. In Long Island at Cartwright’s Gospel Chapel, Cartwright’s, Long Island from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
