Funeral Service for Evangelist Rev. Elsie Delores Knowles age 71 of Oneal’s, Long Island will be held on Saturday January 30, 2016 at 12:00 noon at Highway Church of God, Doctor’s Creek, Long Island. Officiating will be Bishop Landford Bethel, Bishop Winslow Moss, Pastor Ben Pratt, Pastor Allan Dixon
And Other Ministers. Interment will follow in the Simms Gospel Chapel Cemetery, Simms, Long Island.
Left to cherish her fond memories are her loving husband, Exodus Knowles; three sons, Charles, Cpl. 2064 Luther and Orthnell (grandson) Knowles; one daughter-in-law, Rakelle Knowles; eight grandchildren, Ladrica, Luther Jr., Luciano, Lazoria and Lastazia Knowles, Ocarvio Rolle, Shaquille Johnson and Elbernique Ferguson; one great granddaughter, Shamiah Moxey; one sister, Calvise Gray; three brothers, Samuel of Cocoa Fla., Malachi of Simms Long Island and R/Sgt Nathaniel Knowles of New Providence; two brothers-in-law: Elder Frank Gray and Sybrion Knowles; five sisters-in-law, Shirley of Cocoa Fla., Jelelah, Winifred, Marva and Hazel Knowles, Virginia Gray and Mildred Knowles-Roberts; One aunt, Inez Wright; Numerous nieces and nephews, James Pratt, Loretta Hawkins-Smith, Rev. Viewing will be held in the Legacy Suite of Vaughn O. Jones Memorial Center, Mt. Royal Ave. and Talbot Street on Thursday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm and on Friday at the Church in Long Island from 12:00 noon until service time on Saturday.
