Full Military Funeral Service for Retired Chief Superintendent of Police Addington Christopher Darville, age 85 years, of Major’s Subdivision, will be held on Friday June 17, 2016 at 10:45 a.m. at St. Agnes Anglican Church, Baillou Hill Road and Cockburn Street. Officiating will be the Venerable G. Kingsley Knowles assisted by Rev’d Fr. Stephen E. R. Davies and Rev’d Fr. Scott Brennen. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.

Uncle Addie was predeceased by his Parents: Mr. and Mrs. Dorsett and Rosabell Darville; his beloved Wife: Beauthie Alicia Darville; his Sons: Douglas and Drexel Darville; Adopted Son: Anthony “Tony” Dean; Brothers: Clarence, Arlington, Willinton, Washington and Livingston Darville; Sisters: Irene Cartwright, Pearline Carroll, Kathleen Burrows and Merlene Darville.

Uncle Addie will be greatly missed by his Son: Leslie Darville; Grandchildren: Jahamal and Leslie Darville Jr., Richard Dean, Toinette Dean-Mackey and Alicia Dean. Extra Special Thanks to: Susan Major and Francis “Fannie” Sands for their attentive care of him at his home and to the entire Community of Major’s Subdivision. Also to his Great Grand Nephews: Dr. Charles Rahming and Dr. Michael Darville who gave their undivided attention to him while in hospital (both Doctors and Princess Margaret Hospital).

Special Thanks to: the Venerable G. Kingsley Knowles who visited him very often while he was sick at home. To the doctors and nurses who took very good care of him especially Dr. Dionne Dames-Rahming at Doctors and Princess Margaret Hospitals in the Critical Care and Male Medical II Wards.
