William “Minking” Alfred Stubbs

Funeral service for the late William Alfred Stubbs age 81 years, affectionately called “Minking” of Maple Street, Pinewood Gardens, and formerly of Orange Creek, Cat Island, who died on 7th October, 2016, will be held on Saturday, 29th October, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at Church of God Temple, #92 Coconut Grove Avenue & K.D. Josey Way. Officiating will be Bishop Dr. Lindo Wallace, assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens Cemetery, Soldier Road. Left to mourn his passing are his Two Daughters: Castellame Stubbs and Minister Miriam Rahming; Two Sons: Stephen and Pastor Tony Stubbs; Two Daughters-in-law: Minister Verona and Niva Stubbs; One Son-in-law: Ephraim Rahming; Three Grandsons: Garrico and Stephen Stubbs and Eric Carey; Adopted Grandson: Akiva Stubbs; Three Granddaughters: Khardeshia Carey, Ternisha Rahming and Victoria Stubbs; Step Granddaughter: Ronnley Rigby; Adopted Children: Dion, (Danielle), Jeffrey and Sidney Stubbs and Shevaun and Michael Bain; Two Sisters: Minister Verdell Pinder and Pastor Leola Johnson of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; One Adopted Sister: Ellen Newbold; Two Brothers: Christopher and Wentworth Stubbs; Five Sisters-in-law: Helena, Coral and Minister Inez Stubbs, Catherine Knowles and Jenniemae Campbell; One Brother-in-law: Wellington Knowles; One Aunt: Merlease Stubbs; Nieces: Jennifer Butler, Donna Watkins, Susan Carey, Killy Heastie, Christine of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Delores, Sharon, Rhonda, Kristan, Nicora and Kershan Stubbs, Patrice Ford of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Pamela Collins, Kayla Stubbs-Moore, Jacinda Butler, Eleanor, Melvinia, Ruthnell, Althera, Natasha, Patricia, Sharon, Keva, Janel, Joann and Tacoya; Nephews: Apostle Glenford Pinder, Carl, Henderson, Sidney, Antonio and Oneal Stubbs, Cyril, Charleston, Bernard, Cephas, Kirby, Jefferson, Reuben, Vernal, Nicholas, Keith, Andrew, Stanley, Rodney, Ernest and Jerome; Grandnieces and grandnephews too numerous to mention; Cousins: Coralee Turner and Family, Christina Sargent and Family, Marilyn Yee and Family, Pastor Madlyn Campbell and Family, Thelma Stubbs and Family, William McDonald and Family, Joshua Newbold and Family, Clonius and Fonswitt Stubbs and Family, Cecil Newbold and Family, William D. Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Newbold Brothers Funeral Chapel, Palmetto Avenue & Acklins Street, off Market and East Streets on Friday, from 10:00 a.m., until 5:00 p.m., and on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m., until service time.
