Dorothy “Aunt Dot, Miss Dot” Jean Bahl

Dorothy Jean Bahl, also fondly know as Aunt Dot or Miss Dot, of Freeport GBI, formerly of St Catherine’s, Ontario, Canada passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016 at the Rand Memorial Hospital. Dorothy is survived by her husband Jag Bahl, her two daughters; Deborah (Brian), Kelly (Jeff) and son, Jack (Arlene), her sister Marjorie (Burt), brother’s Bill (the late Linda) and Jim, and her late brother Ted (Fern). Further survived by grandchildren; Nichole, Joshua, Zachary, Mikki, Jag, Laura, Dalton and great grandchildren; Naomi, Tessa, Silas, Quincey and August. She was past president of the Canadian Women’s Club and the Freeport Garden Club and a long standing member of the Freeport Angling Club. A memorial service will be held on the beach at the Manta Ray Beach Club (just east of Island Seas) at 5:00 pm, October 1, 2016. Flowers are welcome, but donations to be made to the Bahamas Air Sea Rescue Association (BASRA) or the Rand Memorial Hospital are preferred.
