MR. JOHN ALFRED THOMPSON

of New South Wales, Australia, died in hospital there, on July 24, 2017, after a long illness.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 41 years, Naomi Vanessa Mitchell Thompson (formerly of Nassau, Bahamas and London, England); One son, Nicholas, of Sydney, Australia; Two brothers, Robert Thompson, his wife and family, Douglas Thompson and his wife and family, all of Australia. Family and friends in the Bahamas include his mother-in-law, Muriel Mitchell, sisters-in-law, Corliss B. Culmer and Pamela Mitchell; Brothers-in-law, Corydon and Craig Mitchell and G. Clifford Culmer; Nieces, Gabrielle F. Culmer, Caroline S. Culmer, Monique and Kristi Mitchell. Nephews, Myles (Chanel) and Marc-Richard Culmer, Christophe and Craig Mitchell, Jr. and Erin Poitier. Relatives in-law, Virgil Small Knowles, Alsette Small Deleveaux, Plato L. Small, Vasco D. Small, Lynn and Donzella Burke, Kendra Crawford, family of the late Eric Garth Mitchell, Andre Mitchell and family, the Hon.
