ARTHUR THEODORE “Sunny” SAWYER, 80
of #55 Roosevelt Avenue, who died at the Princess Margaret Hospital, Shirley Street, on Tuesday, 8th August, 2017, will be held at St. George’s Anglican Church, Montrose Avenue, on Friday, 25th August, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be The Venerable G. Kingsley Knowles, assisted by Reverend Fr. Scott Brennen. Interment will follow in Old Trail Cemetery, Old Trail Road.
Left to cherish his memories are: three (3) Sons: Kevin, Derek and Anthony Sawyer; one (1) Daughter: Monique Roker; two (2) Daughters-In-Law: Nasette and Mirlene Sawyer; one (1) Son-In-Law: Charles Roker; thirteen (13) Grandchildren: Kevin Jr., Keanu, Kien, Derek Jr., Denero, Denzel, Demarco, Rafael and Tierra Sawyer; Meko and Lamond Dorsett; Christopher and Kyla Roker; one (1) Brother: Percy Sawyer; one (1) Cousin: David Knowles; two (2) Nephews: Arthur Sawyer III and Christopher Sawyer; Other relatives and friends: George “Barabbas” Wilson, the Baker and Roberts Families; and a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Grace Funeral Home, #36 Rosetta Street, on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
