Winifred Janet Smith, 88
of Freeman Smith, Subdivision, Nassau, The Bahamas, died at the Princess Margaret Hospital, Shirley Street, Nassau, on Thursday, 17th August, 2017.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Eric Smith; son, Stafford Smith; grandsons, Denado Campbell and Eric Smith; granddaughter, Erica and Eurica Smith; son-in-law, Deryk Campbell; daughter-in-law, Shenique Smith; great granddaughter, Taijah Deveaux; numerous nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends including Brenda Wert and family, Kathlin Ferguson and family, the Wells family, the Knowles family, the Harding family, the Pinder family, the McSweeney family, the Smith family, the Bell family, Harry and Pauline Pennerman and family, Mary Harding and family, Dexter “Sweet Tee” Thompson, the Morley family, Mary Jane Wilson and family, Shirley McPhee and family, Jessie Romer and family, the staff of Lorene’s Shop Limited, the entire Freeman Smith Community and the entire Holy Cross family.
A funeral service for Mrs. Smith will be held at Holy Cross Anglican Church, Highbury Park, Nassau, on Friday, 1st September, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
Reverend Father Norman Lightbourne will officiate and interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens Cemetery, Soldier Road, Nassau.
