Leonard Uriah Darville, 84
of Roses, Long Island who died on February 14, 2017 will be held on Friday February 24, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Gregory's Anglican Church, Carmichael Road. Officiating will be Fr. Shazz Turnquest assisted by the Clergy. Interment will follow in the Southern Cemetery, Cowpen and Spikenard Roads.
Celebrating the legacy of Lenny’s life are his 4 Sons: Roscoe, Deon, Lenwood and Kirkwood Darville; 3 Daughters: Winsome Miller, Minette Williams and Monica Darville; 2 Sisters: Lillian Darville and Shirley Turnquest; 1 Brother: Lockhart Darville; 1 Brother-in-law: Fr. Addison Turnquest; 1 Sister-in-law: Sylvia Darville; 18 Grandchildren: Darron, Dascoe, Chase, Chad, Cohen, Romesea, Andrew Jr., Justin, Deon Jr., Deontea, Brendon, Fallon, Deandra, Sindera, Breon, Vanessa, Kenissa and Jamison; 15 Great-Grandchildren; 6 Nieces: Julie Santiago, Sharon Gibson, Arementha Curry, Natasha and Alexandrea Turnquest and Denise; 6 Nephews: Andy, Cyril, Mark, Philip and Bradley Darville and Fr. Shazz Turnquest; Other relatives and friends: Ree Bourne, Arnette and Daniel Cartwright, Kathrina Cartwright, Maxwell and Adline Knowles, Jean Knowles, Ethel, Marjorie Kemp, Myrtice Darville, Lottie Davis, David Major, Albury Major, Lincoln Major, Dora Smith, Wesley Lloyd, Patsy Deleveaux, Joan Eldon, Meg Kelly and the entire Long Island Community.
Viewing will be held in the Legacy Suite of Vaughn O. Jones Memorial Center, Mt. Royal Ave. and Talbot Street on Thursday from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm and on Friday at the Church from 10:00 am to service time.
