Funeral Service for the late Henry James Thurston Sr., aged 91 years of Warwick Street, off Tonique Williams-Darling Highway and formerly of Cat Island, will be held on Saturday, 21st January, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Deliverance Cathedral, East Street South. Pastor James Newry will officiate. Interment will follow in the Western Cemetery, Nassau Street.
He is survived by his Children: Henry Thurston Jr., Bernadette and Rueben Miller, Haywood and Harry Thurston, Godfrey and Claudine Thurston, Sabrina and Wellington Wright, Tanya and Larry Davis, Cheryl and Richard Smith, Jennifer (Deceased) and Robert Francis, Lisa, Peter, Julian and Tricia Thurston, Marguerite and Marcus Burrows. Grandchildren: Monique and Leroy Stovel, Melissa and Chad Strachan, Maquella Miller, Jerome and Shatara Thurston, Lanessa, Leah, Shashanka, Leanthea, Twila, Hailey Thurston, Wayne, Wesley, William and Sonia Wright, Lauren, Katherine and Larry Jr., Davis, Simone Smith, Robert Jr., Jewel and Gilbert Francis, Nicole Thurston, Julano and Raynell Thurston, Danteish Rolle, Terria Hudson, Torcassio Bethel and Ahliyah Thurston, Mia Burrows.Great Grandchildren: Roberto, Nick, Cameron, Chayce, Ryan, Alano, Bradley, Richard, Shay and Shamaury, Jehu, L’Renzo, Elane, Sadelle, William Jr., Dario, Tristan, Theo and Xynai. Nieces: Sandra North, Elizabeth Ingraham-Davis, Margot Ingraham-Oyake, Donalee Johnson, Shanala Sawyer, Italia Thurston, Gena Brown, Andrea Wood, Christine Mackey, Ena Rolle and Blanche Thurston. Nephews: Allan Ingraham Jr., Arthur Jr., Eddie, David and Paul Thurston, Dale Dean, Anthony, Fabian and Korte Thurston. Sister in laws: Mrs. Barbara Thurston and Angela Cartwright and a host of great grand nieces and nephews. Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians #34 Nassau Street, on Friday from 10:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
