LEADER KATHERINA RACHEL SAUNDERS, 94
of Marlin Drive, Highland Park and formerly of The Ferry, Little Exuma, will be held on Saturday, 24th June, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Salem Baptist Union Church, Taylor Street. Rev. Lynden Clarke, assisted by Rev. Wilton McKenzie and other ministers of the Gospel will officiate. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
She is survived by her Daughter: Lydia E. Bullard; Step-daughters: Lilymae Major and Ernestine Flowers; Sisters: Ververine Wilmont, Margaret Curtis; Brother: Former Controller of Customs John A. Rolle; Grandchildren: Regina, Vaughn (Sherene), Warren, Weldon, Trina; Great-children: Wellington Jamaal, Gabriel and Javaughn Bullard; Step-grandchildren: Cindy Sawyer, Owen and Jason Major, Doniqua Major and Donrico Brennen; Brother-in-law: Hezekiah (Shirley) Saunders of Palm Beach, Florida. Sister-in-laws: Viola (Elvin)Bodie and Doreen Saunders of Miami, Florida and their families, Roseland “Tiny” Saunders and family. Numerous nieces and nephews including: Berkley, Bruce, Melonie, Magnola and Karen (Chris) Morley, Sharlene (Patrick) Brown, Bertram, James and Bradley Bowe, Keenan Knight, Kent, Gary, Patricia, Delores and Kay Ward, Judy Ward-Brown, Marilyn Ward-Kemp, Eric and Renee Wilmont, Ian Rolle, Anya James, Janeen Curtis, Althea Burrows, children of the late Isaiah Rolle Jr., children of the late E. Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians #34 Nassau Street, on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
