Mrs. Madlyn Victoria Ferguson, 77
a resident of Solider Road, will be held on Saturday, July 1st, 2017, 11.00 a.m. at Transfiguration Baptist Church, Market and Vesey Street. Officiating will be Pastor Stephen E. Thompson assisted by Rev. Sherma Bowe, Rev, Brazil McDonald, Rev. Alphonso Newry and Rev. Colyn Thompson. Interment will follow in the Western Cemetery, Nassau Street.
Left to cherish her memories are her 1 son: Roger Johnson Sr.; 3 daughters: Iva Johnson, Robertha Ferguson-Saunders of Freeport and Bianca Ferguson; 1 brother: Deacon Hayward Fowler; 2 sisters: Evangelist Olia Fowler, Deaconess Rosa Fowler; 1 son-in-law: Denny Saunders of Freeport; 1 sister-in-law: Brietly Agnes Ferguson; 9 grandchildren: Alexander Barr, Jamaal Johnson, RodrickaDelancey Johnson, Roger Johnson Jr, Rogernique, Levi, Barry, Evlynn Johnson- Ferguson and Rhema Sanders; 6 great grandchildren, numerous niecea and nephews including: Joyceln Bain, Virginia Johnson, Diana Charlton, Michelle Charlton, Marian Rolle; Other family and friends include: Senator Mildred Hall Watson &Vrginia Hall-Campbell, Mrs. Euleane Munroe, Alfreda Holbert, Ms Mart Butler & family, Ms Sybil, Grants Town & Soldier Road family, Minister Minda Hall & family, Ms Forbes and the B.A.F. Financial Insurance Company, New Covenant Baptist Church family, Transfiguration Baptist Church family, Minister Daniel Hudson, Minister Wendy Russell, Amos Saunders & family, Minister Verona Josey-Seymour, Dorothy Taylor, Barbara Bowe Pinder and many more loved ones too numerous to mention.
The body will repose at the Chapel of the Saints, Sweeting’s Colonial Mortuary and Crematorium, #84 Blue Hill Road from 10:00 am on Friday until 5:00pm and from 9:30 am on Saturday at the church until service time.
