Roger M. Jones, 95, died on Saturday, March 26th, 2017 at his home in Sulgrave Manor in Nassau.
He was born in Neenah Wisconsin and served as a PT boat captain in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was a long time resident of Nassau having been the founding General Manager of Navios Corporation in 1955 and then forming Jones Bardelmeier and Co., in 1963.
He is survived by his wife Peggy; his sons Rod, Tim, Scott and Andrew; daughter Peggy; daughters-in-law Joanne, Stella and Roz; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Kirk, Princes Street, Nassau, on Saturday, April 8th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
Reverend Bryn MacPhail will officiate.
