Memorial Service for Janice Mildred Kessinger, age 73 years of Cat Island, will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Saint Andrew's Anglican Church, Arthur's Town, Cat Island at 11:30 a.m. Officiating will be Reverend Father Ernest Pratt.
Ms. Kessinger is survived by her daughters: Amy Beth Kessinger and Callie Kessinger DeBellis; her brother: Lawrence Gould; her sons-in-law: Jeffery DeBellis and Ethan Richman; her beloved grandchildren: Owen and Linnea DeBellis and Linda and Belinda Richman; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Ms. Kessinger was born in Kingston, Massachusetts, USA. She loved Cat Island, the place she called home for the last seventeen years. She was a fully embedded and an active member of the Cat Island Community. Her steady involvement over the years ranged from supporting youth literacy and art initiatives to aiding animal advocacy endeavors to promoting island cultural events.
