Funeral Service For

AMANDA JONES, 85

of 9th Terrace, West Court Centerville and formerly of Pompey Bay, Acklins, will be held on Sunday, 22nd October, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel on the Hill, off Tonique William Darling Highway. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Genius Wells, assisted by other ministers of the clergy. Interment will follow in Western Cemetery, Augusta Street.

Cherished memories will linger in the hearts of her Daughter: Denise Jones-Ferguson; two grandsons: Scott and Mark; two brothers: Chauncey and Aiden Tynes; sisters-in-law: Louise and Rodella Tynes, Joycelyn Hanna, Inez Jones, Rose McPhee and Gloria Mitchell: three brothers-in-law: Rev. Leo Jones, Roland Mitchell and Peter McPhee: Numerous nieces and nephews and great grand-neices and nephews including: Gwenolyn (Kenneth) Sims, Edward (Valeria), Anthony (Marilyn) Tynes, Willamae (Roylston) Knowles, Sheila Martin, Vaughan (Carolyn), Gregory (Margaret), Kirkland (Ollimae) Tynes, Juanita Dean, Therez and Fenrick Tynes, Dwight (Kimberley) Tynes, Judith (James) Jones, Sonia (Donnie) Shaw, Dr. Brian (Linda), Andrew, Ernest (Elizabeth) Tynes, Geogina (Wilbur) Mathurin, Canon Basil (Sonia) and Peter Tynes, David (Mitchelle), Antonia (Lolita) and Marco Hanna, Marcia (Ricardo) Saunders, Pandora (Steven) Brown, Paulette Jones, Allan (Lanna) Fernander, Sandy Farrington, Carolyn (Vandyke) Bethel and Alvin (Mariah) Forbes. A host of other relatives and friends including: Iris Tynes, Ruby Ferguson and other members of the Hanna, Heastie and Tynes families, Forbes, Lightfoot and Hanna families, Floretta Williams, Merlean Poitier, Linda and Lorraine Smith, Rev. Genius and Mrs. Edna Wells , present and former members of Chapel On The Hill, the Nineth Terrace, West Court and Centerville Communities, Sean Ferguson and many other friends and families too numerous to mention, but we thank you for whatever you may have done for her during her illness especially the staff of the Female Medical II at Princess Margret Hospital.

Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians #44 Nassau Street on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
